Planted nearly 40 years ago on the cooler, north-facing side of Sonoma Mountain, which is adjacent to our Hollister Hill Vineyard, this Merlot fully benefits from the extended hang time, allowing for later ripening. The result is a complex yet soft wine with good acidity and ripe fruit that’s perfectly balanced—never baked or overripe.
